The mild winter we've been having so far is the warmth coming up from the equator which is pushing up the jet stream keeping the arctic air at bay in the meantime.  This in-turn is causing an odd weather pattern with massive amounts of rain in certain parts of the US.  Yesterday flooding and sinkholes were reported in Seattle.  The highest temp in Wisconsin for today will be in the upper 50's later in the week the temps will drop round the upper 30's.  El Nino and global warming might play a key factor in these wild temperature fluctuations.

Hello I'm weatherbug, I've been interested in tornadoes for quite awhile studying and watching videos on them.  My dream was to be a storm chaser cruising tornado alley.  I have experienced one micro burst in my lifetime; these are very rare but have the same characteristics of a tornado.  The sights and sounds are very terrifying.  Micro bursts happen when there is an extreme downdraft.  These straight line winds can exceed over 100 mph ripping up trees and tearing down buildings. Mother nature works in mysterious ways.  I run #OceanOasis if you'd like to join.

tropical storm Melor formed today and is rapidly intensifying.......................headed for the Philippines
